During the Qing Ming Festival, families with ancestors buried at the Kacha Chinese Cemetery in Ipoh, gather to honor and remember their departed loved ones. Family members clear away weeds, sweep leaves, and tidy up the headstones. They bring food dishes, fresh flowers, tea, wine, and burn joss paper (spirit money) along with incense sticks.
